Individual and couples counselling

I believe we all have the capacity to grow, heal, and find a deeper sense of contentment in life. In our work together, we’ll gently explore what might be holding you back — whether that’s anxiety, low mood, self-doubt, feeling stuck, navigating menopause, living with an ADHD diagnosis, or other challenges you may be facing. My approach is friendly, supportive, and always focused on your best interests.

Sometimes, difficulties from the past can affect the present, so we may look back to understand how your experiences shape life today. Other times, the focus may be on current struggles — such as relationship challenges. If your relationship feels stuck or strained, I also work with couples to identify what’s getting in the way and to support you both in moving forward together.

My role is to walk alongside you, offering compassion, understanding, and a safe, non-judgmental space where you can begin to feel more balanced and fulfilled. Having personally experienced anxiety and panic attacks, I bring not only professional expertise but also real understanding to my practice. I’m passionate about helping you find calm, confidence, and hope for the future.

I am a holistic counsellor who draws on a wide range of resources, theories, approaches, and professional knowledge to best support your individual needs. Working integratively means I may use methods such as CBT, Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, or more creative techniques like art to help you explore what’s going on inside when you feel stuck. Talking therapy is at the heart of my work, providing a safe and supportive space for us to understand your experiences and find a way forward. My approach to couples counselling is centred on helping you and your partner communicate more openly, understand each other more deeply, and work through challenges with compassion. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way of connection and find ways to rebuild trust, resolve conflict, and strengthen the bond you share. I provide a supportive, non-judgemental space where both voices are heard, so you can move towards a relationship that feels stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling for you both. Therapy can take many forms, depending on what feels right for you. Sometimes that means exploring a more creative path—using art, storytelling, or other expressive tools to gently uncover long-buried feelings and bring a sense of calm to an overwhelmed mind.


At other times, a more structured, coaching-style approach with clear direction and goal setting can help you move forward with purpose, address worries, and even tackle challenges like procrastination. You might be feeling stuck in the wrong career, or finding it difficult to meet someone special—whatever your situation, we’ll tailor our work together to your unique needs.

In person I work in Plymouth at various settings and I also offer walk and talk in areas around various parks in Plymouth, you can even bring your dog!
