I have a genuine passion for helping people, and being a counsellor is truly an honour. It’s something I had always dreamed of doing, and after leaving the busy London rat race many years ago, I was able to follow this calling.
Like many, I have faced my own struggles in life, but through counselling I was able to overcome them and discover so much more about myself. This journey has given me a deep empathy for others and a strong belief in the power of counselling to create real, lasting change.
I have a particular interest in supporting people with anxiety. Having experienced panic attacks in my younger years, I know how overwhelming they can feel — but I also know there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel. I also have a special interest in perimenopause and menopause and have volunteered for a pregnancy crisis charity in Plymouth, helping those who have experience miscarriage and fertility struggles along with lose dealing with pregnancy anxiety.
Alongside my work as a counsellor, I am also a children’s author, which brings me great joy. I would describe myself as happy-go-lucky and positive, and when appropriate, I like to bring warmth, humour, and smiles into my sessions.
If you feel ready to begin your journey towards becoming a happier version of yourself, I would be honoured to walk alongside you. Please do get in touch — I’d love to hear from you.
